How Unleaser works

Find the handoff. Keep the lease process official.

Unleaser is built around one job: connect a student who needs out with a student who needs in, then let the property handle approval and paperwork.

01 · Start

List a lease or start a Housing Watch.

Lease holders add their property, rent, dates, room details and photos. Housing seekers save their move-in window, budget, preferred property or area and housing needs.

02 · AI-assisted matching

Hard constraints first. Context second.

The matching engine compares objective fit such as dates, budget and property preferences. AI-assisted review can then read relevant request and listing context to prioritize stronger potential fits.

DatesDoes the housing window overlap?
BudgetDoes the monthly rent fit?
ContextDo explicit room needs and listing details align?

AI helps prioritize potential matches; it does not guarantee compatibility or approve a lease transfer.

03 · Housing Watch

Seekers do not have to keep checking manually.

A saved housing request remains in the matching pool as new approved takeovers arrive. This is designed to reduce the timing gap between students leaving and students arriving.

04 · Property approval

You match on Unleaser. Management makes it official.

Before anyone pays, signs or moves in, both sides should confirm the property's current assignment, relet or approved sublease rules. Unleaser does not handle rent, deposits or official lease approval.

Free while we prove the marketplace.

The current goal is real inventory, real seekers and completed property-approved takeovers at UNR. The product can expand campus by campus once that liquidity is proven.
